Once again we were back to our early 9 am killer morning starts. But what set this Monday apart from the last was that we all had to start our second course for the session. This week I had selected to do the subject of Legal Theory and Intellectual Property Rights. This Monday morning we solely focused on the topic of Legal theory and were given an in depth introduction so as to what this topic was specifically concerned about.

With the three hour long lecture completed, I had some free time and so I decided to visit Christ Church College and see the famous staircase to the Dining Hall where scenes from Harry Potter were shot. Once in the college, it was very clear that Christ Church college was the second richest college in Oxford. The wonderfully adorned Dining Hall and beautiful Cathedral which were part of the college visit were proof of this wealth.

Finished with the tour, I then headed back to Somerville College to go on the Oxford Castle Tour which was highly entertaining and very informative. Being able to see where and how the prisoners lived along with famous stories of what happened in there was an eye opener to how the prisoners’ were treated through the Victorian age and medieval times.

After that it was time to grab some dinner before heading to go see the Romeo and Juliet play at the Oxford Castle. Since I am on the premium stay package here, the ticket I got was already paid for, but those on a standard package had their own cosy movie night. The play was absolutely fabulous and all the actors embodied the characters so well. The play was so good that I was extremely sad by the ending of the play although I’ve seen the ending many a time before. The story of the star crossed lovers is an absolute classic and a great way indulge in UK’s popular theatre culture.
