Today was my last lesson of International tax law and last lesson at all in Oxford University. I can’t believe it is already the end of me studying in such a wonderful and prestigious university. I would have learned so many things and meet so many nice people !

But it is not over yet and the test is still to take tomorrow morning not to mention the last day’s ativities and farewell dinner.

I tried to enjoy as much as possible my last time here begining by the class lesson. This last course was my favourite of all. After half an hour of studying the subject, the professor divided us into 4 groups to do some presentations about what we had been seing this week. This practical exercises made us collaborate with each other, check if we understood what we have been learning this past week and if not made us clarify the points that were difficult to assimilate. It was a really interesting and stimulating work to do and I regret that this educational approach is not used in my university.

After thanking Mrs Daisy Ogembo, our kind and helpful teacher during this week, my friends and I went for lunch and a last tour of Oxford.

We walked trough the small and beautiful streets, passed by church college and the Bodleian library.  We also went to covent market which was really nice !

We took many photos as usual to keep memories of this place after we are gone and show them to our family and friends. We also bought some souvenirs in one of the many dedicated shops to buy Oxford Sweatshirt, Teeshirt and many others gifts.

After that, I spent some time preparing for tomorrow’s test in order to be ready to answer the multiple choice questions.

After dinner, I went to Margaret Thatcher Center in order to attend the last evening talk of the week about the Brexit. It was interesting and passionate but we ended up learning more about the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) than about the Brexit itself. It is too bad because I looked forward to know more about this confusing topic and I wanted to understand the background of  the situation and most of all know how we came to the point that England is now negociating to leave the European Union.

Tomorrow is the day of the Certificate ceremony and the farewell dinner. It will be the perfect opportunity for us to gather and talk with all the friends we have made during these two weeks !
