At a glance
The Summer Institute is an exclusive academic study abroad programme offered by Oriel College, one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford, in partnership with WorldStrides | CBL International. A variety of subjects are offered including courses in International & English Law, Economics, Philosophy & Politics, British Literature & History, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics). Delegates choose one course per session and have an opportunity to stay in Oxford for two, four, six or eight weeks. Please keep in mind: not all of the subjects are offered during each 2-week session. The courses are open to undergraduate students. Graduate students no older than 28 are also welcomed provided that they have a keen interest in the subject offered. You can check our course offering in each subject.

Activities & Excursions
Experience learning beyond the classroom! Summer Institute at Oriel College also arranges for numerous delegates opportunities to participate in cultural activities in and around the city, as well as excursions to iconic attractions and landmarks around England.

College Accommodation
All delegates of the Summer Institute will be accommodated on the premises of Oriel College in single rooms with private bathrooms. Please bear in mind that dormitory rooms come in different sizes, shapes and styles. Rooms are randomly assigned to individual delegate. All student bedrooms are located within walking distance of the lecture venues. Lunch and dinner will not be provided at weekends.
